Furthermore, we use the Facebook App Events service, which allows us to track the reach of our advertising campaigns and the use of the Facebook SDK. We only receive an aggregated evaluation of the user behavior of our app from Facebook. We have no further influence on the information that is processed by Facebook via App Events.

With the help of the Facebook Pixel, it is possible for Facebook to determine you as a visitor to our online presence as a target group for the display of ads (so-called "Facebook Ads"). Accordingly, we use the Facebook Pixel to display Facebook Ads from us only to Facebook users who are interested in us or who have special characteristics (e.g. interest in certain topics and/or products, visitors to our website), which we transmit to Facebook (so-called "Custom Audiences"). On the one hand, this involves the retrieval of technical information such as browser, operating system, IP address and time of retrieval. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services based on the technical data or the target groups and reading behavior based on their retrieval locations (using the IP address) or access times.
On the other hand, there is also personal tracking, which checks when you open the newsletter and which links you click on. This evaluation is only done so that we can adapt our content to our newsletter recipients as a whole or send different content according to the interests of our newsletter recipients.
